Because you are booking a professional in office treatment the process of whitening is generally safer than what you can do at home. Over the counter kits are usually a ‘one size fits all’ process, which in some cases, have you over applying the bleaching agent and irritating your gums.

What to Expect with Teeth Whitening

Our process is simple, we apply an effective yet gentle whitening gel to your teeth while making sure to protect the gums and other sensitive areas. To activate the gel, we shine our LED cooling light on the area which breaks down surface staining. Every 15-minute round we repeat the process for maximum of 4 rounds or 60 minutes. While all results will vary, it’s standard to go 4-8 shades lighter from where you started.

Some people experience a bit of sensitivity during the treatment and after, in the form of a quick, sharp pains called ‘zingers’. This is normal and you can always opt in for a desensitizing paste to help ease any discomfort.

How to Extend your Results at Home

To extend the results of your Teeth Whitening we suggest following the ‘White Diet’. It recommends avoiding highly pigmented foods and drinks or anything that would stain a white t-shirt, for at least 48 hours.
