What to Expect during a Dental Cleaning.

Our clients are scheduled with skilled professionals in our relaxing spa like atmosphere. We have a beautiful view and allow access to our tv’s to enhance your experience.

During the cleaning the Hygienist will go through a health evaluation. It will include a thorough examination of the oral tissues, an oral cancer screening, a measurement of the health of your gums and the recording of any existing restorations or enamel defects.

The cleaning, also known as scaling, root planing and polish, is done with specialized tools that help clean off plaque and tartar, things that cannot be removed with a toothbrush.

Fluoride or MI- Paste is applied to the teeth after the polish to help mineralize the teeth and protect against cavities.
