Canada’s Dental Benefit Act and What it means for your Family.

As the Year comes to an end, we at Pearl Boutique Dental Hygiene will be closing for the holidays from Saturday December 24^th to Monday January 2^nd, we will be back in clinic on Tuesday January 3^rd 2023.

Now is the time to book your Dental Cleanings and Teeth Whitening before year end. If you cannot schedule an appointment before we close feel free to book online for the New year, and start it off right.

Canada’s Dental Benefit Act

Canada has a new Dental Benefit Act. It was designed to help lower costs for eligible families. The CRA determines the eligibility and administers a maximum of 2 payments for each eligible child.

This plan greatly benefits families with kids under 12 years of age, families with a Net Income under $90,000 and for those who do not have access to private Dental Insurance.

There are 2 payments of either $260, $390 or $650 per child under 12 years old as of December 1^st, 2022. Children would have had to receive Dental care between October 1^st, 2022 and June 30^th, 2023. Conditions of who is eligible is determined by the Canada Revenue Agency.
